It was a pleasant surprise to find this gem on a quick trip upstate. The entire facility is beautifully appointed in what appears to be original decor from the ornate wallpaper to the many antique paintings. For a historical building, the room was spacious, and the bed was comparable to my Sleep Number! Well done! Bonus - great bar and restaurant on site and yummy pastries for breakfast.

Cool historic hotel. Bed was comfy and room was clean! The location is perfect to walk anywhere downtown. And parking is available in the back.

Very old fashioned, lovely hotel. The restaurant was fun with a huge menu! The whole place is charming.
